3 Holiday Photo Tips
I know this Holiday season families will be spending lots of time together participating in Holiday traditions. I have 3 quick tips to elevate your Holiday memories in photo form.
-
Change your perspective/angles; Instead of just getting a shot straight on shoot above from a bird’s eye view, shoot to the side to get beautiful Rembrandt lighting, Lay your camera right against the counter and shoot from that perspective.
-
Get Detail Shots: So much of the story in our holiday traditions is in the details and we often forget to capture them, zoom in and get those sweet little hands rolling out the dough, Dimples on cheeks and giggles as kids bite into their first completed cookie.
-
Do an activity you already love doing together; Want the best, most genuine smiles? Don’t force a new activity, pick your favorite family tradition that your children already love and take pictures of them doing that! These pictures mean the most because they’re something they already love doing and you’ll love having the memories of images associated with that activity.
BONUS TIP: Don’t worry about it being perfect; In the Pinterest age, we can be overly obsessed with images being perfect but that’s not real life, don’t be afraid to capture it all.
Hopefully with these quick tips, you can gather some beautiful images this Holiday season and be able to enjoy those memories for years to come!
